Ezekiel was a priest taken prisoner to Babylon. Instead of serving in the Temple, he was a refugee by the river Chebar. There, "the heavens were opened". He is the prophet of extreme visions: wheels, living creatures, and Glory.
It covers Judgment (Glory leaves) and Restoration (Glory returns). It shows how God rebuilds hope when religion fails.

The theology focuses on God's Mobile Sovereignty and Internal Renewal.
1. Mobile Glory:
God was in Babylon! Ezekiel sees God's throne on "wheels". Lesson: God is not stuck in buildings. He goes into exile with His people.
2. Valley of Dry Bones (Ch. 37):
"Can these bones live?" When Ezekiel prophesies, the Spirit (Ruach) turns death into an army. No matter how dead a situation is, the Spirit can bring life.
3. Heart Transplant:
"I will remove the heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh." Religion polishes the stone; the Gospel swaps the heart.
Where does Ezekiel meet you?
1. When Dreams Die:
Ezekiel lost his career and city. He meets us in the grief of our life plans. When we lose our "temple", we find God more deeply.
2. Feeling "Dry":
Often our soul feels like dry bones. Ezekiel teaches us not to accept death as the end but to prophesy life over our dryness.
3. The River of Life (Ch. 47):
He sees a river getting deeper: ankles, knees, waist, swimming. He invites us to leave the shallows and swim in the current of Grace.
