This is the most intriguing silence in the Bible. While Daniel saw angels and Elijah saw fire, Esther saw nothing supernatural. She lived in a political, secular, and dangerous world where God seemed to be in "airplane mode".
The Scenario
A death decree was signed. Haman prepared the gallows. King Xerxes was unstable. Everything pointed to the end. With no prophets speaking and no visible miracles, Esther had to trust in divine "coincidence".
The Investigation
Where was God? He was in the details.
- Royal Insomnia: On the exact night before Mordecai was to be hanged, the king "lost his sleep" and decided to read the chronicles. This was not luck, it was providence. God commands even the melatonin of kings.
- The Courage of Position: Mordecai said the key phrase: "Who knows whether you have not come to the kingdom for such a time as this?". God positioned the piece (Esther) years before the checkmate.
The Conclusion
Just because God is anonymous doesn't mean He is absent. Sometimes He prefers to act backstage so that, in the end, the glory is undeniable. If you are not hearing God's voice, pay attention to the "coincidences" in your life. It is Him moving the pieces on the board.
