01. The Scene
Stephen was being lynched. As stones broke his bones, he looked up, saw Jesus, and prayed. Not for revenge. He cried: "Lord, do not hold this sin against them."
"And falling to his knees he cried out with a loud voice, "Lord, do not hold this sin against them.""
02. The Essence
This is the final test of Love: loving who hates you. Stephen imitated Jesus. His forgiveness impacted a young witness: Saul of Tarsus. Stephen's love planted the seed for Paul's conversion.
03. My Voice
Who is throwing stones at you? The instinct is to throw back. The Altar calls us to throw forgiveness. Loving enemies proves God lives in you. Release anger; pray for them.
