01. The Scene
The younger son wished his father dead, wasted everything, and ended up with pigs. He returned as a servant. But "while he was still a long way off," the father ran to him.
"But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and felt compassion, and ran and embraced him and kissed him."
02. The Essence
In that culture, old men didn't run (it was undignified). God's Love breaks protocol. The father ran to shield the son from shame. The kiss interrupted the confession. God embraces you to clean you, not after you clean yourself.
03. My Voice
Think God is waiting with crossed arms? He is running towards you. Don't try to be an "employee" in God's house. His Love only accepts sons. Let Him put on the ring and robe. The party is for you.
