01. The Scene
Upon entering the Promised Land, the Israelite couldn't eat the first harvest. He had to basket it, go to the priest, and recite: "My father was a wandering Aramean... God brought us here." Only then could he rejoice.
"And behold, now I bring the first of the fruit of the ground, which you, O LORD, have given me."
02. The Essence
Firstfruits gratitude kills arrogance. It says: "This isn't my strength, it's Your grace." Giving the first part sanctifies the rest. It acknowledges God as the Owner.
03. My Voice
Do you honor God with the "first"? First time of day, first income. Don't give God leftovers. Take your basket, remember your origin, and celebrate. Joy is sweeter after gratitude.
