Total economic collapse: no figs, grapes, olives, or cattle. Absolute bankruptcy. The pantry is empty.
"Though the fig tree should not blossom... yet I will rejoice in the LORD; I will take joy in the God of my salvation."
02. The Essence
Habakkuk's reaction is illogical: "Yet I will rejoice in the LORD." He rejoices in God, not for the situation. Praise born in scarcity is the purest kind.
03. My Voice
Can you worship when everything goes wrong? This praise confuses hell. It declares God is your treasure. Sing, and He will make your feet like deer's feet.
