01. The Scene
Nadab and Abihu, Aaron's sons, offered "unauthorized fire" (strange fire) which God had not commanded. Fire came out from the Lord and consumed them.
"This is what the LORD has said: "Among those who are near me I will be sanctified, and before all the people I will be glorified.""
02. The Essence
God explains: "Among those who are near me I will be sanctified." The Fear of the Lord teaches we cannot worship God "our way". God defines worship. Mixing the holy with the profane is dangerous. Sincerity does not replace holiness.
03. My Voice
Are you offering "strange fire"? Trying to worship while living profanely? The Altar demands purity. God accepts no counterfeit fire. Treat God's things with the honor they deserve.
