01. The Scene
Mary, a poor teen from Nazareth, is told she will bear God's Son. This meant social shame and risk of death. Instead of complaining, she bursts into a revolutionary song.
"My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior."
02. The Essence
Her song isn't "cute", it's warrior-like. She exalts a God who "brings down the mighty and exalts the humble." The essence is surrender. She is a servant; the merit is God's.
03. My Voice
How do you react when God changes your plans? Mary teaches us to say "Yes" to the impossible and sing of God's character before seeing the promise fulfilled.
