01. The Scene
Naaman, a powerful general, was a leper. He expected a grand ritual. Elisha sent a message: "Wash seven times in the Jordan." Naaman was furious. The muddy Jordan insulted his pride.
"So he went down and dipped himself seven times in the Jordan, according to the word of the man of God, and his flesh was restored like the flesh of a little child."
02. The Essence
Obedience often offends ego. God asked for something simple and humbling. Naaman wanted to do something "big"; God asked for something "small". When he dipped, he was healed.
03. My Voice
Are you complicating things? Maybe the solution isn't a "great work", but a simple act you are despising (apologizing, serving). Get off your high horse and dip in the Jordan. Healing is in simplicity.
