01. The Scene
David describes the "Valley of the Shadow of Death". Dark canyons, hidden predators. Instead of running, he describes a surreal scene: the Shepherd sets a banquet table right there, in front of the enemies.
"You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows."
02. The Essence
Psalm 23 doesn't deny the valley, but affirms the Presence ("You are with me"). Worship in the valley declares the Shepherd's company is greater than the wolf's threat. The table means we can celebrate amidst trouble.
03. My Voice
Are you in a valley today? Don't run. Sit and eat. God prepared a table in the middle of your war. Praise not because the valley is gone, but because the Shepherd stayed. Your praise is a banquet in the enemy's face.
