01. The Scene
Jesus was transfigured on a mountain; His face shone like the sun. Moses and Elijah appeared. Peter, terrified, suggested building three tents, putting Jesus on the same level as the prophets.
"And when they lifted up their eyes, they saw no one but Jesus only."
02. The Essence
The Fear of the Lord manifested in a cloud that interrupted Peter. The Father's voice thundered: "This is my beloved Son... listen to him." They fell on their faces. When Jesus touched them, they saw "no one but Jesus only."
03. My Voice
The Fear of God has a goal: focus us on Christ. Sometimes we talk too much (like Peter). Fear silences us. It makes us fall so Jesus can lift us up. In the end, heroes fade; only Jesus remains.
