01. The Scene
Isaiah saw the Lord high and lifted up. Seraphim surrounded Him. Shocking detail: they used four wings to hide (face and feet) and only two to fly (serve).
"Holy, holy, holy is the LORD of hosts; the whole earth is full of his glory!"
02. The Essence
Heavenly worship is absolute reverence before God's Holiness (Kadosh). The purest beings dare not look at God's glory. They sing "Holy, Holy, Holy". Worship is recognizing God is "Wholly Other".
03. My Voice
Our worship is often too casual. Isaiah teaches that meeting glory undoes us ("Woe is me!"). But in this reverent fear, the coal touches our lips, purifies us, and sends us. Worship without reverence is noise.
