Amor

Towel and Basin

John 13:1-17
Listen

01. The Scene

Last supper. Disciples argued about greatness. No one wanted to wash feet. Jesus rose, took a towel, and washed their dirty feet—even Judas'.

"If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another's feet."

02. The Essence

Love isn't a feeling; it's humble action. Jesus redefined leadership: greatness is service. He loved them "to the end". True love isn't afraid to get dirty to clean another.

03. My Voice

Waiting to be served or looking for a basin? Love takes the towel. It does the unwanted job without applause. If your Lord washed feet, you aren't "too important" to do the same.
