01. The Law
Jesus tells of a shrewd manager who used his master's money to make friends before being fired. Jesus says: "Make friends for yourselves by means of unrighteous wealth, so that when it fails they may receive you into the eternal dwellings."
"And I tell you, make friends for yourselves by means of unrighteous wealth, so that when it fails they may receive you into the eternal dwellings."
02. The Mechanics
The mechanic is Exchange. Earthly money is worthless in heaven. But you can use it here to gain something that lasts there: people (souls). Investing in the Kingdom converts temporary paper into eternal gratitude.
03. The Application
What is your money for? Comfort? Jesus teaches shrewdness: use money to buy what money can't buy (friends in heaven). Invest in lives. When you arrive in eternity, people will say: "I am here because you gave." That is true wealth.
