01. The Law
Jesus invites the weary: "Come to me... and I will give you rest." He was addressing the heavy religious burdens of the Pharisees.
"Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls."
02. The Mechanics
The mechanic isn't "doing nothing", it's "exchanging yokes". Jesus says: "Take my yoke." If Jesus is the Strong Ox and you are the weak one, He pulls the weight. You just walk beside Him. Rest is His company in the work.
03. The Application
Exhausted? You are likely carrying a yoke that isn't yours or pulling alone. Principle of Rest: stop straining alone. Get in the yoke with Jesus. Let Him carry the load. Christian life should be light.
