Miriam and Aaron criticized Moses' leadership and wife. "Has the Lord spoken only through Moses?" God heard. He descended, defended Moses ("faithful in all my house"), and Miriam became leprous.
"And when the cloud removed from over the tent, behold, Miriam was leprous, like snow."
02. The Mechanics
The mechanic of dishonor is Contamination. Speaking against spiritual authority attracts spiritual "leprosy" (numbness, isolation). Criticism poisons the speaker. God takes honor so seriously He stopped the nation until Miriam was healed.
03. The Application
Is your tongue making you "leprous"? Gossip against leaders blocks spiritual progress. If you have a complaint, talk to God or the person, not "against" them. Honor protects your own spiritual health.
