01. The Law
Abraham returned victorious. Melchizedek met him with bread and wine. Abraham gave him a tithe. Then, the King of Sodom offered wealth, but Abraham refused: "I will not take a thread... lest you say, 'I have made Abram rich.'"
"And Abram gave him a tenth of everything."
02. The Mechanics
The mechanic of tithing is Source Recognition. Tithing predates the Law. It was a voluntary declaration: "My victory came from God." Giving the tithe gave him moral authority to say "no" to Sodom's dirty money. It frees us from depending on the world's system.
03. The Application
Do you tithe out of fear or revelation? The tithe is your freedom cry. It tells Mammon: "You don't own me." It tells God: "You are my source." Honoring God with firstfruits empowers you to refuse Sodom's offers.
