A rich man had a bumper crop. He planned to build bigger barns and relax. God said: "Fool! This night your soul is required of you."
"So is the one who lays up treasure for himself and is not rich toward God."
02. The Mechanics
The mechanic is Purpose. His sin wasn't wealth, but being rich "toward himself" and not God. He dammed the blessing instead of channeling it. Stagnant wealth brings death.
03. The Application
Accumulating just for comfort? Money isn't for higher walls, but longer tables. Be a channel, not a dam. Use the temporary to impact the eternal.
