The Seed of the Word

In the Sower parable, the seed is the same (the Word), but results vary based on the soil. Hard paths, rocks, and thorns kill the seed. Only good soil bears fruit.

The mechanic is Soil Preparation. God is always sowing. If there is no fruit, the problem isn't God's seed, but your heart's hardness or distraction. Soil needs plowing (brokenness) and weeding to produce.

How is your "soil"? Hardened by bitterness? Full of anxiety (thorns)? Cultivate your heart. Before asking for more seeds, treat the ground. A meek heart is a miracle factory.
