01. The Law
Jesus sent 70 common disciples. They returned amazed: "Even demons are subject to us in Your name." Jesus confirms: "I have given you authority to tread on serpents."
"Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you."
02. The Mechanics
The mechanic is Delegation. Jesus' authority is transferable to followers. Not just for apostles. Treading on serpents means dominion over evil. Power is given.
03. The Application
Are you using the given power? Take possession. You have proxy. But remember: "Do not rejoice in this... but that your names are written in heaven." Salvation is greater than power.
