01. The Law
A furious storm hit. The disciples panicked. Jesus was in the stern, asleep on a cushion. How does someone sleep when the world is ending?
"But he was in the stern, asleep on the cushion."
02. The Mechanics
The mechanic of rest isn't the absence of trouble, but the certainty of the Word. Jesus said: "Let us go across." If He said it, no storm could drown them halfway. Rest is absolute trust that God's Word is more real than the waves.
03. The Application
Can you "sleep" (rest your soul) in your crisis? Anxiety is trying to control the wind; faith is trusting the Captain. Panic solved nothing; Jesus' authority solved everything. Stop screaming at the storm and rest in the promise.
