01. The Law
Korah led a rebellion against Moses. His argument sounded democratic: "All the congregation is holy... why do you exalt yourselves?". It sounded fair, but it was envy. The earth opened and swallowed them.
"And the earth opened its mouth and swallowed them up, with their households and all the people who belonged to Korah."
02. The Mechanics
The mechanic is Functional Election. All were equal in value, not in function. Moses didn't exalt himself; God put him there. Attacking God's authority is attacking God. Rebellion brings death.
03. The Application
Do you badmouth leaders? Careful. Constant criticism opens "cracks". If you disagree, pray or speak respectfully, but don't lead mutinies. God defends His leaders. Leave judgment to God.
