01. The Law
Peter instructs husbands: "Show honor to the woman as the weaker vessel." Fragility isn't inferiority (crystal is more fragile than brick, but worth more); it's preciousness. Honor means handling with extreme care.
"Husbands, live with your wives in an understanding way, showing honor to the woman... so that your prayers may not be hindered."
02. The Mechanics
The mechanic has a spiritual consequence: "So that your prayers may not be hindered." If you dishonor your spouse, heaven closes. God doesn't hear the prayer of one who mistreats a "heir of the grace of life." Your living room is connected to the throne room.
03. The Application
How do you treat those you live with? Public honor is easy; private honor is the test. Protect, value, and praise your spouse. When honor enters marriage, prayers flow unhindered.
